The Space Partnership brings together industry, academia and government to agree shared priorities and identify collective action to deliver the ambition in the National Space Strategy. One such shared priority is ‘Space Capabilities’. To understand the collective action needed to deliver a range of different capabilities, the Space Partnership has facilitated the development of a suite of top-level, narrative Capability Roadmaps that could deliver all 22 space Capability Goals published in the NSS in Action.
The roadmaps are based on the views of the sector, in fact 235 representatives from 110 organisations across industry, academia and government contributed to their development and many more have subsequently reviewed them. The roadmaps are not meant to be fixed, they are expected to evolve over time as new information becomes available. As a result please be aware that the roadmaps are the view at the current point in time. The Space Partnership is the custodian of the roadmaps on behalf of the wider UK space sector and will ensure that they are reviewed every 2 months by representatives from across industry, academia and government to see if updates are required.
Individually each of the roadmaps may feel light on detail, although when they are viewed collectively there is sufficient detail to identify common requirements and understand the interdependencies between roadmaps.
To read the roadmaps, please enter your details below. You will be automatically redirected to them. If you would like to provide feedback please get in touch.
